Production + Songwriting
If you came to this page interested in working together, you can scroll on down to the bottom and fill out the contact form. If you came here looking for a ramble about me as a producer, look no further.
Hey there, welcome to my production tab. Let’s get into it. A little about me as a producer… I'm a keys-first multi-instrumentalist dabbling in piano, guitar, saxophone, violin (I could never actually perform violin, but for production purposes I can make it work pretty well), and pretty much any other instrument you hand me. I'm constantly learning and that's what I love about production—most of the time the best ideas are things you've never actually done before. You just kind of stumble onto them. As a songwriter first, I loved the way each song came together differently from the last, and I love that production can add even more variance to that process; for that reason, I'm a huge fan of letting the production inform the songwriting, and vice versa. I believe the best records require the best out of the songwriting, production, and the marriage of the two.
Also, I love to dig in with artists and make full projects. Whether it's your first EP or you've been doing this for a while and it's time to make an(other) album, there's nothing I love more than building that world together. Jack Antonoff once said quite famously (famously to me, anyway), “Album is God,” and I really do believe and live by that. In this new world of instant gratification dopamine hits plagued by AI and valuing content creation over art, singles will just add to the white noise—but albums have the opportunity to live on.
And maybe most important of all, I am extremely anti-AI in art. I like to stay away from it as much as possible in all aspects of my life, but I believe with every fiber of my being that AI has no place in art. You can call me old-fashioned, but I like to make my music by actually playing and recording music—not asking a computer to do it for me. So if you bring me on to produce your record, you can expect us to make something human together. And making things human is something humans do best, so we do have that going for us. *steps off soapbox*
This all started with my own artist project (click any other tab for more) as I started going into Degraw Sound in Brooklyn at the end of 2020 to make records with producer Harper James. I still do and I'm always trying to learn more. Over these last few years, what began as a desire for more fluency in the language of production and recording turned into an infatuation. Eventually, I started collecting gear of my own to see what I could do—really just because I wanted to spend more time making music—and I've been adding to it ever since. Then, I moved to a new place in Brooklyn with the intention to put together the perfect space. I called it Arcade Sound. For a couple years, I worked on tailoring the space to my evolving needs as I made more music than ever. Until finally, I moved to Los Angeles and built the current iteration of Arcade Sound in the heart of Los Feliz.
Arcade SOund - Los angeles, Ca
The ultimate “bedroom” studio located in Los Feliz right next to the Vista theater. Re-founded in 2025, this is the second iteration of what is sure to be a string of future professional spaces for me. With an emphasis on organic sounds and eclectic arrangement, Arcade Sound's ever-growing collection of instruments and gear has been curated to further inspire the inspired artist, and stumble into those happy accidents you can only find in a studio.

Services:
Production - the whole enchilada—making a record. In-studio collaboration, with additional remote work as necessary, with all the toys in the studio at our disposal. It looks different every time, but we'll find our way to the promised land.
Additional Production - remote or in-person, whether it's layers of synths, stacks of sax, scratchy strings, percussive piano, etc. I'll try to elevate what's already there with fresh ears and a unique production perspective.
Songwriting - back to basics, my first love. Let's work together to fine tune something you already have or write something from scratch—nowadays I mostly co-write as part of the production process, but I'm always open to writing a great song.
